SELECTION GUARANTEE

We understand that many people only wish to travel to certain events in order to support their son/daughter, husband/wife, friend or family member. Selections therefore play a large part in the decision to travel, however with selections often left until only a few weeks before the event, this makes it very difficult to arrange travel, tickets etc on such short notice. SportsLink International gives tour members the security of booking prior to selections, with the knowledge that they will not lose all their money if selection or injury changes their decision to travel.

As we cater specifically for family members, we are the only group that offers this option for tour guests. We don’t believe that the disappointment of missing out on a major tournament should be coupled with a loss of large sums of money for those travelling to support those athletes. Many of the people who travel with us do so over a number of years and various events, so we know that over time these people will come back and travel with us again in the future.

In the case where an athlete is not selected in the final team for any event that has this Selection Guarantee*, the following cancellation conditions will apply:

1. If a replacement can be found for the secured rooms, an administrative charge of $500 per person will apply. All other payments less the administrative charge will be refunded

2. If a replacement cannot be found, a minimum of 75% of the package price paid will be refunded when proof of non-selection is provided. This amount will rise up to the package price, less a $500 administration fee where SportsLink International is able to arrange additional refunds or on-selling of booked packages

3. Flights are not part of this policy and are subject to their own booking conditions
