There is no better way to get into the Olympic spirit than to take in the excitement of the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games. It is a great way to kick off the next 16 days of competition and the excitement that is to come. At the end of the Games, the Closing Ceremony allows us to reminisce on the events and remarkable performances that we have witnessed and celebrate these achievements.
While most of us will unfortunately not have the chance to see this live from within the stadium, the next best thing is to join with friends and family in seeing this event at our Opening and Closing Ceremony functions in private surroundings at the City Hotel London on the 27th July & 12th August.
Both functions will run from 7pm – 11pm, with the ceremonies from 7.30pm – 10.30pm. The package will include 4 hrs of food and drinks, with the opportunity to mix with other supporters in a vibrant and pleasant atmosphere
The function centre we have secured for the duration of the Games has full bar facilities, comfy lounges, as well as 5 plasma screen plus 2 projector screens, so there will be numerous vantage points to ensure you can see all the action as it happens
The package includes 4 hours of premium drinks, including draft and bottled beer, red & white wine, spirits and mixers, mineral water, soft drink and juices. There will also be a wide variety of gourmet finger food, consisting of a range of meat and vegetarian dishes.
Although the room is licensed to hold 350 people, we will be limiting this to just the first 200 bookings. This ensures that not only can everyone get a good viewing position to see the screens, but also to ensure there are not long queues at the bar. With over 350 people staying in the hotel, plus many of our group in our other 2 properties and our links with many other supporters travelling independently to London, this event is sure to sell out quickly.
We will also have some lucky door prizes on offer on the night, including tickets and merchandise.
