In April 2018, Commonwealth nations from around the world will come together on the Gold Coast, Australia to compete in the biggest sporting event ever held in the region.
To make the most of this occasion, we will be conducting a “Commonwealth Junior Hockey Tournament” at the same time to enable schools from around the world the opportunity to play a high quality event against other competing schools, plus take in the elite level matches that are being played and cheer on their home country. As Official Tour Provider to Hockey Australia and Hockey New Zealand, we will also be looking to incorporate the opportunity to meet and mix with the players during the event. We will also work with teams from other competing countries the opportunity to do the same with their own teams.
Open to Boys & Girls teams, and limited to a maximum 8 teams, the tournament will be held in Murwillumbah, just 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, with all players and management accommodated close by in order to provide their own “village” for the event. Our aim is to be able to attract teams from Australia, New Zealand, England, Scotland, Wales, South Africa, Canada, India, Pakistan, Malaysia & Singapore to give the event a truly international feel for all the key hockey playing countries.
